Webinar Overview

Respiratory insufficiency, failure and arrest are leading causes of procedural complications and unplanned admissions, and can create a significant cost burden for healthcare systems. Respiratory compromise is listed among the top five conditions of increasing hospital cost1 by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, with associated costs projected to surpass $37 billion by 2019.2

Brian Berry will describe common pathways to respiratory compromise and explore potential strategies for prevention, such as continuous etCO2 monitoring to help improve outcomes and reduce costs.
